BiographyMehrdad Biglarbegian Homepage

My name is Mehrdad Biglarbegian. I am a PhD candidate in Power Electronics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte working under supervision of Dr. Babak Parkhideh in PV Integration Laboratory.

I graduated with B.Sc. degree in Electrical Power System Engineering from School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Tehran. I also received my M.Sc. degree in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano mostly dedicated of Renewable Energy Sources. I also as an exchange student at ACS defended my M.Sc. thesis entitled with “Design, Implantation and Evaluation of Cooperative Methods for Short Term Compensation of Deviation loads from Load Schedule for Dual Demand Side Management” as a joint project RWTH and Politecnico di Milano where working with Professor Antonello Monti and Dr. Fabio Rinaldi.

My research area is power electronics for utilities with specific focus on High switching frequency inverters for Solar Photovoltaics applications.
